Flagship Commons Now Open, Makes $10,000 Donation to Abide

Nebraska’s first highly-anticipated food hall project, Flagship Commons, officially opened to the public on December 29th. Located in Westroads Mall, Flagship Commons offers fast casual and full service-style restaurants including three popular Omaha establishments, five new concepts, a full bar and a patio coming this spring.

In addition to Blatt Beer & Table, Amsterdam Falafel & Kabob, and Aromas Coffeehouse, Flagship Commons also includes the following new concepts: Yum Roll (by Blue Sushi Sake Grill), Yoshi-Ya Ramen, Weirdough Pizza Co., Juan Taco and Clever Greens.

To celebrate the project’s grand opening, Flagship Restaurant Group partnered with Abide (www.abideomaha.org), pledging to donate a portion of all opening week sales back to the organization – an inner city non-profit group working to build an Omaha that is “Better Together.”

On Tuesday, January 5th, exactly one week after Flagship Commons’ official opening, Flagship Restaurant Group presented Abide with a check for $10,000. Abide’s mission is to transform the inner city of Omaha, one neighborhood at a time. The organization provides a holistic approach that focuses on developing healthy neighborhoods through four main areas: community building, family support programs, housing and partnerships.
