A new boutique recently joined the small, but growing number of retail shops in the Benson neighborhood. Daisy Jones’ Locker brings a unique style for women of all ages. DJL sells new clothing with a vintage style; items include semi-formal to semi-casual clothes and accessories. “The idea for Daisy Jones’ Locker came from having to shop online for fabulous, vintage inspired clothing, which I just couldn’t find in Omaha. I was tired of ordering clothing online, paying shipping, and waiting for it to arrive, only to find out it didn’t fit. I feel like Daisy Jones’ Locker will fill a clothing niche in Omaha that, for the most part, has been missing,” explains owner Angela Coleman.

The location, 6003 Maple Street, is just to the east of the Subway restaurant on the north side of Maple Street and across from the Benson Community Center. The small shop, decorated in classic red and black, is adorned with unique art prints, which are also available for purchase. A grand opening celebration was during Benson First Friday.  Models adorned selected outfits to give visitors ideas on how to pair them with hairstyles and makeup and the Omaha Jitterbugs, a local, non-profit, swing dance organization, danced in front of the shop.
