University of Nebraska Omaha and Baylor Evnen, in partnership with Tabitha and The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, are pleased to invite the public to a much anticipated follow-up workshop, Begin with the End in Mind: The Next Chapter, to be held this fall at Nebraska Educational Telecommunications (NET) and offered online via live webcast.

Begin with the End in Mind: The Next Chapter invites participants to lift the veil off the often negative stereotypes associated with end-of-life decisions and to live life thinking about your story, your legacy. This three-part series builds on the success of the Begin with the End in Mind workshop held last year in Lincoln and developed by the University of Nebraska Omaha’s Aging and Lifespan Community of Practice.

The Next Chapter offers new workshop sessions including the top 10 mistakes made in estate planning, led by Andrew Loudon, attorney at law at Baylor Evnen; legal issues of aging led by Lindsey Wylie, J.D., Ph.D.; and advanced directives for protecting end-of-life wishes led by visionary hospice provider and Tabitha Hospice Medical Director Dr. Lisa Mansur, MD, FCCP, FACP.

The workshop series is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register for the NET session or live webcast, call OLLI at (402) 476-6265, visit olli.unl.edu or email olli@unl.edu. Sessions are held the second Fridays of September, October and November from 3-4:30 p.m.
