Cass County Celebrates Opening of Glamping Destination, Kimberly Creek Retreat

The Cass County Nebraska Economic Development Council and the broader Greater Omaha Economic Development Partnership are cheering the grand opening of the region’s latest attraction: Kimberly Creek Retreat (www.kimberlycreekretreat.com) in Ashland, NE. An event was held on September 27 to celebrate the official opening.

Situated on 20 wooded acres halfway between Omaha and Lincoln, Kimberly Creek Retreat offers a range of glamping (glamour camping) options, including its Homestead cabin, two pods (The Nook and the Cranny), and two geo-domes (Dream Queen and King Dome). All of the accommodations include heating and air conditioning, a kitchenette, and en-suite bathroom with private shower.

Onsite activities include everything from hiking to hayrack rides and other seasonal events. Kimberly Creek Retreat is also close to Cass County’s array of major attractions, including Mahoney State Park, the Strategic Air and Space Museum and the Lee G.
