Boomer Radio Network Adds Council Bluffs Signal at 106.5FM

Walnut Radio is proud to announce the addition of a new frequency to its popular Boomer Radio Network (myboomerradio.com). Boomer is now available in Council Bluffs and the surrounding area at 106.5FM.

Boomer Radio targets the valuable 45- to 75-year-old adult audience with “music that makes you feel good” from the 60s, 70s, and early 80s. Core artists include the Beatles, Bee Gees, CCR, The Doobie Brothers, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, and more.

Boomer is the only locally-owned station in the metro and is proud to be live in all three major dayparts with celebrity local air personalities Dave Wingert, Jessica Dol, and Jack Swanda.

Boomer 106.5FM and 1490AM is also broadcasting local Council Bluffs high school sports, including Lewis Central, Thomas Jefferson, St. Albert, and Abraham Lincoln. Boomer Radio is also the local affiliate for the Iowa Hawkeyes!
