Amazon Gives First Media Tour of Nebraska Delivery Station, Donates 10K to Lift Up Sarpy

On June 10, Amazon (search.amazondelivers.jobs/job/omaha/warehouse-team-member) celebrated the grand opening of its first Nebraska Delivery Station by hosting Governor Pete Ricketts and community members to attend a press conference and tour of the new facility in Omaha. This is Nebraska’s first Amazon facility and the first time that media was invited inside the facility for a tour. During the event, Amazon also donated $10,000 worth of items to Lift Up Sarpy County to support relief efforts for local families following the devastation from recent floods in Bellevue.

During the event, Amazon’s Regional Operations Director Bernard De Guillebon led guests on a tour of the facility and discussed how Delivery Stations enable Amazon Logistics to add capacity and flexibility to the company’s delivery capabilities to support the growing volume of customer orders in the region. This facility has already created 230 permanent, full-time and part-time jobs, along with powering job opportunities for hundreds of small businesses and independent contractors in the area.

Amazon’s Nebraska Delivery Station is located at 11652 S.154th St. To checkout job opportunities with Amazon, visit search.amazondelivers.jobs/job/omaha/warehouse-team-member.
