AIM Heartland Developers Conference Returns for 2021

The Heartland Developers Conference, organized by the AIM Institute (aiminstitute.org), is the area’s premier software development conference. For over 15 years, HDC has brought together the region’s technology experts for keynotes, breakout sessions, and hands-on workshops. This year, HDC takes place at the CHI Health Center November 1–3. Each day will be tailored to a different skillset within the technology audience—from novice, to pro, to expert. Tickets are $299 and available now at www.heartlanddc.com.

Each day’s content will be focused on five tracks, covering Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Dev/Sec Ops, Enterprise Technologies, Microservices, and Innovation. The tracks will be tailored to that day’s audience, and the content will build upon itself as the conference progresses.

One of the many lessons of 2020 was the importance of technology in keeping communities connected, students learning, and people secure. Ensuring that our region’s technologists have an opportunity to learn new skills, share best practices, and be inspired is a key part of the AIM Institute’s mission to contribute to economic development while addressing the needs of the tech community.

The AIM Institute grows a strong and diverse tech community through education, career development, and outreach. Formed in 1992 by a group of leaders from business, government, and education to lead the charge in building the tech talent pipeline, the AIM Institute promotes diversity and inclusion in the tech sector by providing educational opportunities, career training, and community events to the Western Iowa and Nebraska region. The AIM Institute operates the AIM Code School, Emerging and Advanced Leadership Academies, custom corporate training, and events such as Infotec and the Heartland Developers Conference.
