Adventure in Art is excited to announce that the studio is now owned and operated by Beth O’Hanlon. Beth brings many years of art and teaching experience to Adventure in Art. Since buying the business in October of 2014, she has evolved the business into a working studio and an educational center for the arts in Benson.
Beth received her bachelor’s degree with a dual major in art history and studio, and after finding success as a working artist with her painting and sculpture works featured in many solo and group exhibitions, she later returned to school and earned her teaching certificate in Art K-12 and Gifted Education K-12 and a master’s in Gifted Education. She has taught art classes in public schools along with Art History courses at the University of Cincinnati and locally at Metropolitan Community College and Southeast Community College in Lincoln, as well as being a teaching artist with the Nebraska Arts Council. Beth has been involved with arts her whole professional career and is dedicated and passionate about art education, making her the perfect fit as the new owner of Adventure in Art.
Located at 6001 Maple Street, Adventure in Art has been offering unique opportunities to experience the arts in the Omaha community since 2004. From parties and special events to classes and team building workshops, Adventure in Art has plenty of opportunities to get creative!
