American Heart Association Announces 2022 Greater Omaha Heart & Stroke Walk

The American Heart Association (www.heart.org) would like to announce the 2022 Greater Omaha Heart & Stroke Walk, to take place on May 14 at 9 a.m. The event will be held at Miller’s Landing in Omaha, 151 Freedom Park Rd. The Heart Walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun corporate, community, and family environment. They are excited to host their walk in person this year with a few changes to ensure the safety of all participants.

When you register for the event you are helping to save more babies and kids who have congenital heart defects, train thousands in life-saving CPR, fund groundbreaking brain and heart research, and overall champion health equity for all. The American Heart Association is hoping to reach a goal of $600,000 in donations for the event. You can check their progress and register for the event at www.omahaheartwalk.com.

The American Heart Association’s mission is to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. To achieve this, they work by driving equitable health impact in our communities. Every person deserves the opportunity for a full, healthy life. As champions for health equity, the American Heart Association will advance cardiovascular health for all, including identifying and removing barriers to health care access and quality.
