PJ began her battery career a little over 3 years ago when her owners, Travis and Tanya Hall, moved to Omaha from Dallas. They moved to Omaha to purchase Interstate Batteries of Omaha, a locally owned distributorship for automotive and commercial battery applications. With the move came all kinds of excitement, but the best benefit of all is coming to work everyday with her owners. In the off chance she would ever be forgotten at home, she lays in front of the door leading into the garage so as not to be left behind. PJ is a 140lb English Mastiff who is 8 1/2 years old.
Her daily work responsibilities include being the official mascot as well as the door greeter and additional alarm system. Sometimes she is our interoffice delivery dog where paperwork gets tucked under her collar and she gets called between offices. Other highlights of PJ’s day include walking to the mailbox with her owner, napping and playing with her oversized ball. If PJ happens to be napping in a spot where you need to walk, well you better just find a different route because her presence takes priority!
PJ accepts any kind of attention from customers who come into the office to purchase batteries. She gets most excited when various delivery drivers come because they bring her several treats!
As excited as PJ is to come to work in the morning, she is just as excited to go home in the evenings. It’s good to be PJ!
