As featured on the cover, The Nebraska Business Development Center is proud to announce the 11 winners of their Nebraska 2013 PTAC Program “Government Contractor of the Month!” These businesses were selected monthly during 2013 as an example of businesses who desired to sell their goods and/or services to town, city, county, state and federal governments and were successful in doing so. The Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) helps businesses seeking to compete successfully in federal, state, and local government contracting. Through the use of the PTAC consultant in their respective area of Nebraska these businesses were assisted in properly registering their business with the government, were provided bidding opportunities, and were then assisted in developing their proposals and counseled on implementing their projects or programs.
