FAMILY, Inc. Welcomes Amy Waggoner as New Board President

FAMILY, Inc. (familyia.org) is honored to welcome Amy Waggoner as the new Board president. Amy is a retail manager at Great Western Bank, overseeing retail banking in the Omaha Metro. She has been in banking since 2007, holding various roles from teller to branch manager. Amy has served in her current role since 2018. She is a graduate of Leadership Council Bluffs and Leadership Sarpy. A native of Council Bluffs, IA, Amy believes in the importance of giving back to the community. She does so through various volunteer opportunities, including Heart Ministry Center’s food pantry.

Amy enjoys her involvement with the Chamber of Commerce and is passionate about building relationships with her customers, coworkers, and the community. Amy has served on the FAMILY, Inc. board since 2015 in a variety of roles. She has previously fulfilled the role of treasurer and vice president. She has enjoyed utilizing her banking/financial experience to support the organization and loves spreading the word about FAMILY, Inc.’s impact on the community.
