Cox Communications Offers Free Wi-Fi in June, College World Series Hotspots
As Omaha kicked off summer with a jam-packed June, welcoming thousands of baseball fans for the College World Series, Cox Communications (www.cox.com) once again offered free Wi-Fi throughout the month. The company’s network in the metro area includes more than 550 hotspots—all of which were open to the public through July 1.
Cox also had a presence at Omaha’s signature baseball celebration—Omaha Baseball Village, located at The Matt—June 14 through 21. Fans in attendance were able to experience an innovative new virtual reality “fan face game,” relax in furniture from Nebraska Furniture Mart, cool down and charge up with device charging stations, learn about the Rebuild the Heartland fund, and stay connected via the free Wi-Fi access offered by Cox.
