Alvine Engineering Names Milena Palahanska-Mavrov Project Manager

Alvine Engineering (www.alvine.com) has named Milena S. Palahanska-Mavrov P.E., LEED AP BD+C, CDT a project manager in the firm’s Omaha office. In her new role, she provides leadership in the proactive management of a broad base of projects, including client communication, design, staffing, and quality assurance.

Palahanska-Mavrov is a University of Nebraska graduate and a licensed mechanical engineer with 12 years of professional experience designing highly-sophisticated, energy-efficient building systems. She is a LEED Accredited Professional with an emphasis on Building Design and Construction as well as a certified Construction Documents Technician (CDT).

Palahanska-Mavrov has been involved in a variety of local projects, including design for the Burlington Rail and Commerce Building, multiple projects for Creighton University, Ponca Elementary Renovations for Omaha Public Schools and the NorthStar Recreation Center.

In her free time, Palahanska-Mavrov is actively involved with American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and her children, Maggie and Kalina’s school activities.
