Photo_TherapyDia_Gym_Omaha_NebraskaTherapydia Omaha is a member of a national network of Physical Therapy clinics emphasizing ongoing wellness. The Therapydia clinics are well-staffed, well equipped, and well-appointed. The therapists in each clinic are recognized as the leaders in their field and are committed to excellent patient outcomes and experiences. Therapydia Omaha is staffed by office manager Allyssa Schamp, who is a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and a certified Strength and Condition Coach through the NSCS. Owner Adam Brockmeier, DPT is a Nebraska licensed Physical Therapist and received his undergraduate degree in exercise science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Doctor in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and continued further to study biomechanics and exercise physiology at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He is also a certified personal trainer through the ACSM and Tai Chi instructor through the Tai Chi for Arthritis foundation.

“At Therapydia Omaha I offer treatment of musculoskeletal injuries such as those sustained in sports, work, MVA’s, or other activities with evidence based medicine and innovative techniques such as dry needling. I work with individuals on balance and vestibular deficits and also work to bridge the gap from rehabilitation back to competing at a high level on the field, court, or just in everyday life.

Photo_TherapyDia_Tai_Chi_Omaha_NebraskaI also teach Tai Chi and hold ‘medically based’ fitness classes, utilizing equipment such as kettle-bells, and other customized performance training sessions to ensure lifelong health and wellness. All physical therapy appointments are 45-60 minutes in length and all time is spent directly with me without use of aides, trainers, or ‘techs’. Each visit time is spent reviewing and making sure the patient understands their home program to maintain gains achieved in physical therapy and ensure the patient is well equipped and empowered to improve their own health. Furthermore, Therapydia is highly active in the community offering free health seminars, guest lectures and free injury assessments at local businesses, attending corporate health fairs, and holding free events at the clinic to promote healthy lifestyles and a healthy community.

Photo_TherapyDia_Adam_Brockmeier_Omaha_NebraskaIf you are referred to us from your physician, we will all work closely to develop a plan of care to return you to your desired function with close attention to your medical history or restrictions due to a recent orthopedic surgery. If you choose to use your health insurance you may be required by your plan to have a prescription from your physician, but many times a referral is not necessary for coverage. Nebraska is a direct access state and patients can access a Physical Therapist without a referral. We will work with all insurance companies and policies or you may simply choose to pay otherwise, with a cash discount or with your HSA/FSA account.”   — Adam Brockmeier, DPT
