Concordia Lutheran Schools of Omaha provide children and youth with an education that is refreshingly personal, academically rigorous, and will prepare young people for lives of faith, service and leadership as Christian disciples. Approximately 500 students are currently enrolled in their two schools, Concordia Academy (grades K-6) and Concordia Jr.-Sr. High (grades 7-12). Their schools offer a caring and safe environment, outstanding academics and a wide range of opportunities in athletics and the arts. Community is encouraged among its students and families through treating everyone with love and respect. Curriculum, school environment and activities are designed and conducted in a Christian manner, taking care to guard against cultural influences that erode Christian relationships, teaching and principles. How does your institution prepare students to enter the workforce or continue their education?
Academics at Concordia High School are built on a college-preparatory platform and challenge each student to reach his or her full potential. With this in mind, teachers, along with the guidance counselor, place a high degree of importance on building relationships with students so they may guide them individually towards the next chapter of higher education. On average, 99% of graduating seniors from Concordia High School go on to attend college. Our personalized approach leads students to be successful college students, both academically as well as socially. In today’s world, solid academics along with enriched student opportunities wrapped with strong Christian values are going to build a complete foundation for young adults to achieve their dreams of success. We teach our students the ways in which you can make a difference in the community and the world while leading by example.
