Omaha is full of good people who appreciate good service and they will refer people to businesses where they receive this kind of service. We have a steady clientele list and we are fortunate to receive the benefit of many customer referrals. We’ve also noticed, Omaha doesn’t seem to receive the full brunt of recessions, like other communities we see in the roofing industry around the country.
What kind of community organizations are you involved with?
We belong to the Bellevue Chapter of Business Networking International (BNI) and the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. Outside the business organizations we are a Special Olympics supporter and donor.
Do you have a business philosophy or mission statement?
My business philosophy and mission statement are one in the same; Do it right the first time. I try to instill this philosophy and belief in all my employees.
What do you see happening with the business in the next five years?
Ciaccio Roofing has outgrown its current location in Bellevue, NE. I am currently in the process of looking for a suitable building or possible property on which to build a new office and warehouse facility. With this growth, I look forward to adding additional employees to our already professional and dependable staff.
What is one of the biggest challenges your company has faced?
Although the recession brought forth some obstacles which we overcame, all forms of insurance and taxes typically seem to be the main challenges to our roofing business. Fuel prices have also played a major role the past few years.
What has been your most important achievement as a business?
Being able to give back to our employees and community. We also have a huge group of satisfied customers. We are also proud to say, Ciaccio Roofing has been voted Omaha’s Best Roofing Company, by other business owners, for last 6 years in a row. That is very gratifying!
What was the biggest turning point in your business?
Partnering with a manufacturer. Not only do they have a great product, they also have a team of people who continually work with the contractors, advising them on the products and educating them on any new products available. Along with that, having in place a great management staff that works together as a team, has helped Ciaccio Roofing grow and prosper.
What is the one goal for your business you have yet to accomplish?
Ciaccio Roofing would like to win Duro-Last’s highest honor, the John R. Burt Golden Eagle Award, which is given each year to Duro-Last contractors who attain a goal of excellent quality and craftsmanship in their work, as well as achieving an annual sales volume of more than $2 million dollars of Duro-Last product.
