What makes you different from other law firms?
Empathy toward our clients’ unique and varied life situations.  We work hard to focus on results.

What do you like about doing business in the Omaha area?
We enjoy trusted referrals from former clients and business acquaintances.  Omaha is truly a small town, with good people, good values and work ethic.

What community groups or charities are you involved with?
CenterSphere, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Pheasants Forever and Rotary Club of Lincoln.

Do you have a business philosophy or mission statement?
Aggressive, Affordable, and Trusted.

What changes have you seen in the industry and your company in the past few years?
Increase in Bankruptcy and Debt Collections due to the economy.  Firms are not hiring and expanding at the usual pace; however our firm is growing.  In the last year we have added two new associate attorneys, and now cover most areas of the law.

What do you see happening with the business in the next five years?
We will add an additional attorney to specialize in the workers’ compensation and personal injury practice arena.  No other attorneys will be added, but each attorney will sharpen their practice skills within their niche practice area.

What is one of the biggest challenges that your company has faced?
Law school taught us the law; the school of hard knocks has taught us how to run a business…specifically a law firm.

What has been your most important achievement as a business?
Continued growth through satisfied clients.  We receive the compliment of clients who return to our firm for representation on new and varying issues; and the referral of their friends and family is the ultimate compliment.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about your business that most people don’t know?
Attorneys are not rich!  Yes, it’s true.  Just having your Juris Doctorate hanging on the wall does not put money in the bank account.  The practice of law is similar to most other businesses with concerns about over head, profitability, office systems and marketing.

What is one goal for your business that you have yet to accomplish?
Stabilize our growth, and settle in, so to speak, with each attorney having two practice areas wherein their focus and expertise lies.
