Midtown Medical Group (MidtownMedicalGroup.com) is a local small business established in 2008. Over the last 14 years, they have grown their team of licensed medical providers and psychologists as they’ve expanded their disability evaluation services across two states and 10 locations, becoming Nebraska’s top provider.
They are now taking all that expertise, experience, and outstanding customer service to help companies with their pre-employment needs by offering physicals, screenings, and drug testing among other services. Midtown Medical Group wants to help local companies identify qualified candidates and minimize their risk.
Owner Trisha Sullivan sat down with us for a Q&A session to learn more about her and the company.
Q: What is your business philosophy or mission statement?
A: To provide outstanding customer service, ease of scheduling, and quick turn-around times; we pride ourselves on exceeding industry standards in all we do.
Q: What is one of the biggest challenges your company has faced?
A: For sure COVID. It has hit us small businesses pretty hard. We’re still being affected by it. Hopefully by next year things will start to turn around.
Q: What has been your most important achievement as a business?
A: Becoming and staying Nebraska Disability Determination’s top provider over the last 14 years.
Q: What do you like about doing business in Omaha?
A: Omaha is a great place to own a small business. It’s a city that cares about helping their small business community flourish – from all the help the Chamber provides to the people that live here that support us.
Q: What kind of community organizations/groups is your business involved with?
A: We give back to the community by donating to multiple local organizations including the Omaha Food Bank and our local Joslyn Castle neighborhood.
Q: What is one goal for your business that you have yet to accomplish?
A: We’ve excelled in our disability evaluation services – we’re now growing our employer services. We hope to be just as successful in this new venture.
