Boomer Radio KOBM (www.myboomerradio.com) is an oldies-formatted broadcast radio station, serving the Omaha/Council Bluffs/Blair area. Broadcasting oldies from the 50s, 60s & 70s, Boomer Radio is programmed to please the 55+ “baby boomer generation” market. KOBM is locally-owned and operated by President Steven Seline, through licensee Walnut Radio, LLC, and managed by Brad Leggett.
As Omaha’s only locally-owned radio station, Boomer Radio is excited about their recent expansion, which included the addition of two new signals. Along with existing signals, 1490 AM and 104.1 FM, Boomer Radio is now broadcasting on 94.5 FM in Omaha and 97.3 FM in Blair. The additional signals more than tripled their coverage area and make Boomer easier to hear in the Omaha area. This expansion also makes Boomer Radio one of the only radio stations in the country that has four frequencies!
Aside from increasing their coverage area, Boomer Radio’s greatest achievement as a business is gaining some of the most legendary DJs in Omaha. Boomer’s rockin’ lineup of live and local DJs include Dave Wingert in the morning, Jessica Dol during the midday, and Jack Swanda in the afternoons.

In the past few years, Boomer Radio’s on-air sound has improved as they have converted to digital technology in their studio. Their goal for the next five years is to continue helping their clients communicate with the boomer generation through the use of radio, the internet, and social media. Boomer strives to ensure everyone understands the buying power and influence of the Boomer Generation. Boomer’s advertising salespeople are ready to help businesses reach the Boomer listeners.
