Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch

The family behind the Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch (www.bellevueberryfarm.com) hold deep roots dating back to the late 1800’s in Nebraska’s frontier history. Committed to family farming, preservation of farm land, and the values of rural America, their passion shines through every part of the property. A visit to their ranch, while close to the Greater Omaha area, is like revisiting the past when farming was the main stay of the U.S. Economy. Visitors experience a variety of farm antiques, livestock and crops, as well as unique interactive areas patterned after what life was like 40 to 100 years ago.

This time of year, nature lovers and visitors of every age have plenty of activities to choose from including hayrides through 20 acres of woods along the old Papio Creek bed. Unique tree houses can be visited along with their version of a small western frontier town and recently upgraded kid friendly playgrounds, including a 3 story 120 foot long pirate ship. Every building on property has been reconstructed using old barns of which family and friends have personally taken down over the years from farming neighbors.

Plan your visit this Fall and join the ranch as they kick off festivities in September, which include berry and vegetable picking, the one-of-a-kind Ranch of Terror haunted house, Pirates Caves and the best Haunted Hayride where the forest around you comes to life.

Bellevue Berry Farm-HayrideThe Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch is a place where your family or company can make their own festival and reunion with over three different lodges to choose from and campfire sites for use. They even offer full catering for groups of all sizes.

All the food is prepared and cooked on site, by ranch hands over outdoor camp fires and smokers, providing visitors with a down home unique country experience.

The Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch is continually offering visitors a truly family farm county experience. Owner, Ed Schaefer, can often be heard saying “local food cooked over an open fire, served in a barn that was built out of old historical barn wood, what more could anyone want”!

Come experience for yourself how time magically slows down at the Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch.
