Brian and Keana have been married for over 20 years and have two adult children, Mario and Mykiah, and one granddaughter, Naomi. The academy’s name derives from the founders’ last name, giving it a personalized touch that promotes local and family-run businesses. Their center was born out of wanting to make a difference for families and children that are of lower social economic statuses, all while in the midst of a global pandemic. The academy’s dedication not only to the children within their care but also to the children’s families and their own staff is what sets them apart from other child care centers in the area. They strive to create a loving atmosphere that gives children a safe home-away-from-home that they will look forward to coming to every day. Their unique, co-teaching style environment allows teachers to collectively share ideas in the classroom, maximizing the benefit of having a variety of personalities in the room.
With B & K’s ExSeptional Ones Academy continuing to grow within the community and after receiving their Better Business Bureau certification, it’s no doubt that they have become a trusted child care center that consumers can trust with their children to learn and grow. Once more, they have also recently become a partner of the military and will now be listed as a good childcare option for military families.
