Teresa Million has been in the home care business for the past 20 plus years working in a variety of roles from nursing to administration and from pediatrics to geriatrics, but it wasn’t until last year when she cared for her dying grandmother that her family decided to start their own home healthcare business.  Freedom In Home Services is a family owned business that is owned and operated by Teresa Million, her sons Eric and Josh, and soon to be daughter-in law, Emily. Freedom In Home Services is a licensed and Joint Commission certified home healthcare agency that provides both medical and non-medical services to meet all your healthcare needs from birth to senior citizens in the Omaha and surrounding area. Their goal is to help individuals remain in the comfort of their own home.  They offer non-medical care such as companions and homemakers and medical care such as skilled nursing social workers and respiratory therapists.

Tell us a little about your family.
I was born and raised in Tarkio, Missouri and moved to Omaha in 1990. I have two sons, Eric (30) and Josh (25) and both boys have their own businesses as well as being very involved in Freedom and in our tanning business, Daytona Tan.  Eric owns EriConneX, which creates customized data solutions and Josh owns Million’s Lawn Care. Josh is getting married in November to Emily Preston.

Every since I was a little girl I have always wanted to be able to “twinkle my nose” like Jeannie on I Dream of Jeannie or Samantha on Bewitched.
