ASQ Marketing specializes in helping small businesses in the Greater Omaha area develop and implement online marketing, social media, and customer retention marketing strategies. ASQ also supports clients with website management. They work with clients in several different industries, and support clients with both a B2C and B2B focus. Steviee Holt is the owner of ASQ Marketing.
How did you get started in the business? – After being in the corporate world and working with clients all across the country I really love Omaha and its small businesses and felt there was a strong need for my services and talents. With my husband and families’ support I was able to take the risk and start my business. I have not had to look back since and it was the best decision I have ever made. My life is much busier, stressful, and I have to utilize every minute of every day but I absolutely love it. It is an amazing feeling to know that you are doing exactly what you should be doing with your career and in life.
What has been your most important achievement professionally? – Starting ASQ Marketing and growing my business
Tell me a little about your family. – My husband’s name is Aaron Holt and my daughter Quinn is 6 years old. My parents Steve & Sherri Zimmerman also live in Omaha along with Aaron’s parents Jim and Laurie Holt. Aaron and his father Jim own Ideal Properties & Renovations. Aaron is my rock and I would not be the business owner and mother that I am today without him. Quinn just started 1st grade at Anderson Grove in Papillion. She is such a special little girl that loves people, fashion, music, and is eager to know everything about everything.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – My favorite thing to do on my day off is to go boating with friends and family. I love being on the river or on any lake. I also love to cook for my family. We focus on eating very healthy and so I often challenge myself to cook as healthy of a meal as I can and still maintain creativity and taste.
What are you the most proud of? – Quinn, Aaron, my parents Steve & Sherri Zimmerman, and ASQ Marketing.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – “Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs.” I think about this every day!
If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Leader
What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – Cooking skills!
Which talent would you most like to have? – I wish I knew how to play the guitar and piano.
If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – I would want to be a chef and open my own restaurant that was geared towards kids and healthy dining, yet still trendy.
What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
What is your favorite local restaurant? – Clancy’s Pub on 114th & Dodge and 168th & Center! I also love PLANK and Blatt Beer.
