What has been your most important achievement professionally? – As President of Store Operation of Max Muscle Lincoln, it did and still holds the title of #1 Max Muscle in the country for seven years.

Tell us a little about your family. – I am expecting my first child (boy) with my fiancée, Tia. Tia also has a 4 year old named Braxton who is a future firefighter and never leaves home without his fire boots, coat and helmet!  I often have to honk while driving and let everyone know we have a fireman in the car.  Tia and I are still haggling over names but I’m confident that I will win her over…I told her she already got a chance to name her first born so I get to name my first born. We will see how it goes!

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Finding out that I had my son on the way.  It was the final push I needed to take this great leap to become a business owner. I realized that I wasn’t living for myself but the future of our family.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Working six days a week open to close means that Sunday is a much needed family day. My family is very close so we typically spend Sundays with both Tia and my families. My parents have a great house for spending time with family. We usually swim and we often have intensely competitive tennis matches. Oh, and since we are Italian, food is always a focal point of our Sundays!

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – More so a quote that always stuck with me; “Heart trumps talent when talent doesn’t have heart.”

What is your greatest talent that you utilize in your daily work life? – Respect and work ethic are two of the most important things one can live by.  I take this philosophy into my personal and professional life.  My parents instilled these two values very early in life and I credit these principal values for all of my successes in life as well as being able to overcome failures.

What is your favorite local restaurant? – Lazlo’s is definitely our most frequented spot. Great food and you can eat healthy too! Most importantly, their customer service is always outstanding.

If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be? – Present would be Matt Damon because he far exceeds the mold that Hollywood has become. He is a very interesting person who can make you laugh until it hurts and the next minute impress you with his intellectual views on life, education and government. Past would be Thomas Jefferson as he is easily one of the most intelligent and influential Americans in the history of our great nation.
