What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally?
Juggling three kids and running my own business.
What has been your most important achievement professionally?
I’m still looking for that one thing I can hang my hat on. Hopefully I never find it, I might decide to quit working.
Tell us a little about your family.
I have three great kids and my wife Cheryl of 15 years. They are who I wake up for and who I focus everything on. We love all kinds of outdoor activities and as I write this, I’m sitting at the base of a mountain in Colorado ready to go skiing with my family tomorrow. What a blast to see your kids going down the slopes.
What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?
Watching each of my kids being born has changed me a little bit each time.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
On my day off you can find me coaching one of my kids in some sport.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
I like teaching and/or coaching.
What are you the most proud of?
Having a wonderful marriage after 15 years.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Don’t hold grudges.
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I don’t want any type of super powers. I’d probably cause more harm than good if I had one.
What are your plans for retirement?
I have not thought about retirement. Once my last kid is in college I might start thinking about it.
What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life?
This one stumped me.
Which talent would you most like to have?
I would love to be able to sing and play guitar.
