Meet Travis Payne, Ambassador at Center Sphere (centersphere.com).

Tell us a little about your business. – I have been an Ambassador for Center Sphere the Network since 2013, and I am also the Business Development Manager for Pixel Fire Marketing, a full-service marketing agency in Omaha.

How did you get started in the business? – I have spent the better part of my professional career in sales and helping businesses grow. Marketing and networking were the next step in helping take those businesses to the next level. I have been with Pixel Fire for two years now and it has been a great experience in addition to networking with Center Sphere.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Since so much of my career has been driven around face-to-face meetings and networking in person, it was a very large challenge with Covid to learn a new way of connecting with people. Center Sphere’s interactions were also face to face, but my chapter did an amazing job shifting into Zoom meetings and due to those relationships, we continued to meet each week online and the chapter grew during this time and so did my business.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – My most important achievement professionally has been creating a trusting brand in myself as well as my company to work with those businesses and individuals. My care is genuine, and I truly enjoy helping businesses grow and succeed.

Tell us a little about your family. – I have a supportive and amazing wife who runs a very organized home as well as her business too. We are raising six incredible kids that range from 11-18 years old. They manage to keep each day adventurous and always have something going on.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – It is very difficult to pinpoint one area or one event that was a turning point in my life. I think that just getting older and having children who look up to me is always a learning process that helps to keep me growing.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I enjoy playing golf and anything to do with sports and my family.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I have lived and spent time on the east coast and the west coast, but there is definitely no place like Nebraska.

Who inspires you? – There are a lot of very successful and hard-working business partners in the metro area that I admire and meet with regularly.

What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – “Energy and persistence conquer all things” – Benjamin Franklin.

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Exciting.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? – To fly. It would save me so much time getting to and from Center Sphere events.
