Tell us a little about your business. – LimeLight Expressions is a one-stop event planning company. From start to finish, we manage all of our clients’ needs. Our goal is to make the entire process stress free, not only for the client, but also for their family and friends. Our staff oversees every detail so everyone can relax and enjoy the event to the fullest. Every occasion is completely custom tailored to our clients’ vision, making the experience as original as they are!

LimeLight Expressions has been family owned and operated since 2007 with over 22 awards in the event planning industry. Our business model is unique because we prioritize building relationships with our clients and establishing trust through consistent communication. From multimillion-dollar international events to local events, our approach is to meet the needs of our client and build a relationship that feels more like family. Throughout the process, our clients describe their dream event, and we take the necessary steps to make their vision a reality. LimeLight staff takes pride in guiding our clients through the entire planning process so they can be confident the event will exceed their own expectations.

How did you get started in the business? – I began working for First National Bank at an early age, specializing in marketing. After taking the lead at multiple trade shows and conferences throughout the U.S., I realized designing and operating events came naturally to me. While assisting with a large-scale event in Arizona for one of the FNBO presidents, I came to the realization that this is what I was born to do. I left the banking industry to chase the dream of owning my own event planning company.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Every event has its own challenges. We travel the world planning events, but even locally, we never experience the same exact venue, decor, theme, logistics or vision. There are two things a planner can never control, the weather and people, but I love putting together a plan that brings everything together for a spectacular outcome.

Tell us a little about your family. – I have an amazing husband that has his own remarkable career. He spends the majority of his time off at LimeLight events running our crews, heading up security or building relationships with clients and guests. I feel blessed having a husband that invests his time and energy in supporting me in my professional endeavors. We have four children between the two of us, my boy and girl twins, and I get to be a bonus mom to my husband’s son and daughter. It gets a little hectic balancing my family life and career, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I have twins and multiple college degrees, I was a kickboxing instructor for nine years and I’ve had my real estate license since I was 18 years old.

If you had a theme song, what would it be? – “Be in the Light” by DC Talk.

What local nonprofit organizations are you passionate about or involved with, and are there any special reasons why? – We work with a lot of amazing nonprofit organizations throughout the year. They are all near and dear to our hearts in their own unique way.
