Meet Cam Vacek, AI Consultant at Ungridlocked (Ungridlocked.com).

Tell us a little about your business. – Ungridlocked was created out of a passion to help business owners be successful in the realm of Leadership, AI/Tech Efficiencies, Organizational Design and Marketing.

I work alongside owners and executive teams to create lasting changes in their organizations and they’ll realize immediate impact/gains from our work together.

Additionally, I think working together should be fun and involve food.

How did you get started in the business? – I started sharing AI tips and secrets with my business colleagues and realized that most people know they should be using AI, but had a hard time imagining ways to use it. It was after a presentation to a small group of professionals that many people came up and asked me if I could do the same presentation at their company, but tailored to their industry. It’s so rewarding to see people be confident in using AI and start to transform their workflows.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Right now I’m just getting started so I’m figuring out the best way to get the word out and which pricing models and industries I want to focus on.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – To date, I’ve been able to do several AI presentations to small groups of executive leadership teams and I’m really encouraged to see the wheels start to turn in their head and them thinking about different ways they want to implement AI.

Tell us a little about your family. – I’ve been married to my husband for 15 years and we have 4 kids who are currently in 4 different schools from high school to pre-k. He is also in the tech space so we have really geeky AI conversations. We also manage another side hustle of robotic handwritten cards which has been a great opportunity to involve our kids and teach them practical business skills.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Honestly, when I first became at Christian at 14 and all the ways God has continually refined me has been extremely instrumental to where I’m at in life now. No skill or talent I have is of my own doing and I can truly point to Jesus as the source of everything I have.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I once ate 2.5 Chipotle Burritos in one sitting, or I got 2nd place in my high school’s checkers tournament.

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Compassionate

If you had a theme song, what would it be? – “Gansta’s Paradise” is a pretty solid walk-up song.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – Being able to pick out the best restaurant in new cities.

What local nonprofit organizations are you passionate about or involved with, and are there any special reasons why? – Restoring Dignity, they help immigrant families and I deeply relate to their experience. Love Justice fights human trafficking in low income countries where women and kids are often susceptible.
