Patrick Jarrett left a senior executive corporate position because he wanted to pursue a career as a small business owner. After researching a number of companies, he determined that Speedpro Imaging was a great fit and launched an Omaha location. Speedpro Imaging is a large format graphics company specializing in premier high quality high resolutions graphics and specialty signage. Their most popular products are vehicle wraps and fleet graphics, tradeshow booths and displays, indoor and outdoor banners, real estate and architectural graphics, window imagery and decorative window frost, floor graphics, backlit signage and sporting event graphics.
Tell me a little about your family. – I am married to a wonderful lady named Stacey and we have a great soon to be 15 year old son named Christopher. We are a family of golfers so that’s really where we get the opportunity to spend a lot of time together. My son Chris is also an outstanding baseball player and is looking forward to venturing into high school sports.
What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – I lost my mother two years ago and now I do not take anything for granted. You want to try to spend as much time with your parents and children as you can because you never know what’s around the corner.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – That I really do enjoy kids and would someday love to do volunteer work where I can help supply kids with the right equipment to get into the sport of golf.
What are you the most proud of? – I am very proud of my wife and my son for being so understanding of the time it takes to start up a business. They have both made some great sacrifices. Both my wife and my son have pitched in and helped in the business. That makes me very proud.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – Give it 110% all the time, but always remember you cannot control everything and everybody around you.
What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish? – Growing Speedpro Imaging and watching my employees grow with the company and watch them and their families be successful in life.
If you could have a super power, what would it be? – Be able to predict the future to prevent some of these national tragedies and natural devastations that we have gone through this year.
What are your plans for retirement? – Simply travel with my wife and play a lot of golf. Hopefully one day enjoy some grandkids.
Which talent would you most like to have? – Don’t know if you call it a talent but I wish that I had a lot more patience in daily life.
What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – I really only read mostly sporting magazines.
What is your favorite movie? – Top Gun
What is your favorite TV show? – Two and a Half Men
What is your favorite local restaurant? – Charlie’s on the Lake
If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be? – Warren Buffet. I have some investment questions to ask.
