After graduating from college, Nick Huff landed a marketing intern position at a unique restaurant concept opening in Midtown Crossing. He loved the direction of the company and quickly grew into the role of Marketing Manager and then as Sales and Marketing Manager.  CRAVE is more than just a restaurant, it’s a complete dining experience. From the ambiance, variety of quality food, level of service, commitment to the community and event options, CRAVE has you covered. They have private dining spaces that seat up to 70 people. The spaces are great for holiday parties, corporate gatherings, wedding rehearsals, networking events, socials and much more.

Tell us a little about your family.
Warning: This is going to be really sappy, but I mean every word of it. My mother is probably the sweetest lady in the entire world. I only use the word probably, because I don’t want to offend everyone else who “might” think their mom is. She is a Paralegal by day, Italian cooking machine by night. My sister is married, lives in San Diego and has one on the way. Uncle Nick is pumped. My younger brother (who I look up to) is a senior at Omaha Burke. He is the captain on the football team, and also participates in varsity wrestling and baseball. The “kid” (who easily has 4 inches and 80lbs on me) has friends that love him, a family that adores him and gosh darn he’s a good-looking fella.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
I love to thrift. My friends and I try and go every weekend. From Goodwill, to Thrift World, to Midwest Pickers and everything in between, we can’t get enough. Sure, I dress fancy, but my get-up costs less than your lunch. I am also an adrenaline junkie. You could say, I am most comfortable in motion. I feed this by playing sports, running, shamelessly dancing in my living room and participating in “fun” runs.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
I can do a standing back flip, I’ve rolled two cars and I placed 5th out of 16,200 runners in this year’s Warrior Dash.

What are you the most proud of?
I am most proud of my family, and the work that I do. My family has given me a great foundation to build upon.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Be you.

What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish?
I am an extremely competitive person, and I want to be the best at what I do. Right now, I’m clearly in restaurant Marketing and Sales. My goal is to be top of mind in the industry.

If you could have a super power, what would it be?
To fly, duh.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read?
Well, since I can’t keep still, it’s pretty hard for me to settle down and read a book. I love listening to books on tape though. The latest book on tape I listed to was, What The Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast. I highly recommend it.

What is your favorite TV show?
Easiest answer yet, Newsroom on HBO. It is my favorite TV Show series to date. I would recommend anyone to watch the 10-episode first series that aired this past summer. Great stuff.

What is your favorite local restaurant?
This question is evil. I love Chipotle.
