Tell us a little about your business. – I’m the Office Manager for Juiced Fuel (juicedfuel.com/omaha). We make getting gas and diesel more convenient by bringing it directly to our customers—whether they need fuel for their vehicles, boats, equipment or business fleets. I love being part of a business that saves people time and makes their busy lives just a little easier.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Learning how to balance work and family has probably been my biggest challenge. As a mom, there are always a million things that need your attention. I’ve learned that you can work hard and pursue something professionally while still keeping your family a priority.
What has been your most important achievement professionally? – For me, it’s being able to contribute to a growing business while being a mom and managing everything that comes with family life. I’m proud that I can step into my professional role, be dependable, help customers and still be there for my kids.
Tell us a little about your family. – Family is the most important thing in my life. I’m a wife and mom of six, so life is definitely busy! Our days are filled with school, sports, activities, church and all the normal craziness that comes with a big family. It can be chaotic, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Spend time with my family and friends! I love a day when we don’t have anywhere we have to be and can just enjoy each other. Whether we’re going somewhere fun, grilling outside, watching a movie or just hanging out at home, those are my favorite days.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I’m one of those people who already have a million things going on, and somehow still want to add another project to my list! I love being creative, organizing things and coming up with ways to make everyday life more fun for my family.
What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – “Never neglect your marriage.” I think it’s easy to get caught up in work, kids, schedules and everyday responsibilities and forget to prioritize the person you started this life with. I think relationships take intentional effort.
If you could have a super power, what would it be? – The ability to freeze time! As a mom, I feel like there are never enough hours in the day. I’d love to be able to pause everything, catch my breath, get things done and then jump back in.
What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – I’m pretty creative. I love decorating, planning things, creating fun experiences for my family and coming up with ideas. I probably don’t get to use that side of myself nearly enough in my everyday work.
Which talent would you most like to have? – I’d love to be able to sing really well! I love music, and it would be amazing to have a beautiful singing voice.
If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – I think I’d love something in interior design or event planning. I enjoy making things beautiful, bringing ideas together and creating something people can enjoy.
What is your favorite local Omaha restaurant? – Clio.
