Tell us a little about your business. – ProTech Commercial Vehicle Outfitters (protechcb.com) up fits and repairs work trucks for all industries; we also are a Boss Snow Plow distributor. We stock all different kinds of plows, salt spreaders and repair parts for many different types of Boss plows. We also stock service bodies, flatbeds and hook lifts for the container industries.

How did you get started in the business? – I have been working here for about 14 months now and came on as a purchasing agent.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – I have been a Procurement Director for about 40 years and the most challenging thing is to make sure you keep up with the changes in your field of work and the changing trends to make sure you are stocking what the customer is going to need.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – My most important achievement was to help implement NetSuite CRM and Inventory management systems, also helped to implement Advanced Manufacturing modules.

Tell us a little about your family. – I have been married to my wife for 42 years this year, I have two sons and one daughter; I also have six grandchildren.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – The biggest turning point for me was when I came to the realization that God can do more for me then I can do myself and that you have to put your full trust in Jesus.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I love to cook in my outdoor BBQ Shack.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I am timid and do not like to get out of my comfort zone; I have to force myself every day to not just keep to myself but need to share my ideas. I am also very confident that I can do what ever I set my mind to do.

Who inspires you? – My wife inspires me to be the best person I can be.

What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – “If all else fails, there is still God.”

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Helpful.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – Making up and improving recipes to make them better tasting.

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – I would love to be a chef.

What local nonprofit organization(s) are you passionate about or involved with, and are there any special reasons why? – I support and volunteer for RRT (Rapid Relief Team).
