Tell us a little about your business. – As the VP of Business Solutions at Cornhusker Bank (Cornhusker.Bank), I am dedicated to building strong, trusted relationships with businesses and individuals. I take time to understand each client’s unique financial picture and provide tailored solutions designed to increase efficiency, optimize cash flow, enhance liquidity, and mitigate risk. I recognize the value of having a dependable banking partner, someone who supports you through every stage of growth and helps navigate both opportunities and challenges with confidence.

How did you get started in the business? – Banking has always intrigued me. While I was in college, I happened to see a sign at my local branch that they were hiring. I began working as a full-time teller while continuing classes. From there, I was given opportunities to grow, learning about retail banking, consumer lending, and eventually stepping into leadership and supervisory roles.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – I had the rare opportunity to help grow a bank in a new market. This allowed me to contribute across nearly every area, from operations and strategic planning to building processes, developing high performing teams in both retail and treasury management.

Tell us a little about your family. – I’m outnumbered at home, but I love being the only female and wouldn’t change it for the world. My husband, Jared and I do our best to keep up with the fun created by our boys, Cole (5), Cooper (2), and our dog, Chip.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – When I got married and started a family, I realized just how important balance truly is. My identity shifted, from being immersed in work and philanthropic commitments to prioritizing family. At first, finding that balance was challenging, but with the support of my family and friends, I discovered that I don’t have to choose one path over another.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – On my days off, I focus on recharging, whether that’s a quick round of golf, a good audiobook, or catching up with a friend. A little reset helps me return with fresh energy and perspective.

Who inspires you? – My dad. His work ethic, integrity, and unwavering support have shaped so much who I am, both personally and professionally. He has been one of my greatest mentors, offering guidance at pivotal moments and helping me navigate some of the most defining decisions in my career.

If you had a theme song, what would it be? – “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys.

What local nonprofit organization(s) are you passionate about or involved with, and are there any special reasons why? – I value the opportunity to give back through community service. As the Vice President and Treasurer of the Dream Factory of Nebraska, I’m proud to support an organization that brings joy to children ages 3–18 by making their dreams come true, free from the worries of surgeries, financial challenges, or healthrelated stress. With a fully volunteerdriven model, 95% of all funds raised go directly to children in our local community.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – Atomic Habits.

What is your favorite TV show? – Lately, I’ve been into Homeland and Night Agent.
