In 2005, Eric Meysenburg began working with Scott and Ryan Stara, owners of Revolution Wraps, on a freelance basis from Kansas City during his evening and weekends, as they were longtime friends of his.  In 2007, he moved back to Nebraska to become the Art Director for Revolutions Wraps. Five years later, they have wrapped over 3000 vehicles and countless large format projects. Their Omaha location has been open for a year now and they just added a 14th employee to Team Revolution.  Revolution Wraps is one of the United State’s leading providers of Hi-Definition, High Impact Graphics and serves Lincoln and Omaha as well as national clients.

My amazing wife, Heather, and I were recently married in 2011. Our parents live in David City and York, and my brother and sister are in Omaha with their growing families.

The biggest turning point in my life was about 9 months ago. It was the day I married my wonderful wife, Heather. My greatest adventure is just beginning.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
When I’m not at work, I enjoy flyin’ along a singletrack on my bike, jump’n on a plane with my wife for somewhere we’ve never been or just chill’n with friends and family on the big deck we built.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
I have attended a wedding in Siberia, been stranded for a day on the border between Thailand and Cambodia, and biked across Europe for five months. I love to travel and experience other cultures.

What are you the most proud of?
I am most proud of my brother and sister, and the wonderful families they have created.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Face the fear and do it anyway.

What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish?
One goal I hope to accomplish would be to own a hilly, wooded acreage to build my own mountain bike trail and to design/build a large building as an art studio and workshop.

If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I wish I could fly! The freedom to go anywhere would be amazing.

What are your plans after retirement?
Lots of travel!  Whether it’s across the USA in an RV or on a road bike, or visiting friends around the globe, I just want to keep going.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life?
I wish I had more time for painting and photography.

Which talent would you most like to have?
I wish I was a natural at languages and could speak multiple languages fluently.

What is your favorite movie?
When I need a good laugh, I pop in Euro Trip.

What is your favorite TV show?
The Walking Dead just started its new season, and The Big Bang Theory is always entertaining.

What is your favorite local restaurant?
My wife and I really enjoy sushi, so I’d have to say Sushi Japan or stopping by Blue for Happy Hour on a Sunday afternoon.

If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be?
It would be interesting to sit down for dinner with Van Gogh, Dali and Norman Rockwell to discuss technique and inspiration.
