Dr. Dan Beninato grew up in Omaha, Neb. He attended Hastings College where he received a dual degree in Biology and Chemistry and received his Doctorate from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2000. In 2002, following an associateship position, Dr. Beninato opened Premier Dental in Omaha, one of the most advanced, state-of-the-art dental facilities in Nebraska. With a passion for staying at the forefront of modern dentistry, Dr. Beninato consistently strives to use the most advanced procedures and technology available. He is one of a select group of dentists nationwide who have completed the masters level training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advance Dental Studies (LVI), a world renowned center for cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry.
Tell us a little about your family. – My beautiful wife, Pam and I have been married for 13 years and have four wonderful children: Madison, age 11, Sam and Dominic, both age 6, and Natalie, age 5.
What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Without question, it was marrying my wife. She has been my biggest support through all of our growth and changes, all the while organizing our family and maintaining a balance.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Right now, these are hard to come by, however, in my free time I enjoy golfing, working out and all of our kids’ activities.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – If there was a Hall of Fame for practical jokes, I would have a legitimate chance of being elected.
What are you the most proud of? – First, my family, followed by my wonderful office team.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – When I was a little kid, my mom told me, “God helps those who help themselves.”
If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Compassionate
If you could have a super power, what would it be? – To be able to fly. They just don’t make airline seats for guys my height.
Which talent would you most like to have? – I would like to have musical talent.
If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – Athletics
What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – I just finished Great By Choice by Jim Collins.
What is your favorite movie? – Caddyshack, the most quotable movie of all time.
What is your favorite TV show? – Right now it’s The Big Bang Theory, it’s my inner nerd coming out.
What is your favorite local restaurant? – Charlestons
