Tell us a little about your business (newstartcleaningllc.com). – We provide residential, commercial, apartment turnover, and post-construction cleaning services. We focus on creating opportunities, especially for Latina women, helping them grow, become financially independent, and believe in themselves. We believe every “new start” matters.
How did you get started in the business? – I built this business from the ground up through hard work, long days, faith, and survival mode. What began as a necessity eventually turned into a small cleaning business of one and later grew into a company with an amazing team and strong relationships throughout the community.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Learning how to grow while staying strong mentally and emotionally.
What has been your most important achievement professionally? – Building a successful business while helping others grow along the way and become confident, independent, and even start their own businesses.
Tell us a little about your family. – Family is everything to me. I’m very proud of my children and the strong values we share. Building something together and having my husband and two of my children work alongside me has been such a blessing
What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Deciding to fully believe in myself and take the risk of building my own business. It taught me strength, resilience, leadership, and the importance of never giving up.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Spending time with my family, relaxing, getting coffee, listening to music, focusing on personal growth, spending time with my cat and plants, and brainstorming new ideas and future projects.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – How emotional and passionate I am about helping others succeed. I want to see women win, support each other, and grow together. I also used to compete in bodybuilding and powerlifting.
Who inspires you? – Strong women, especially hardworking Latina entrepreneurs and single mothers. My mother is one of my biggest inspirations. She is one of the strongest women I know, and she taught me how to be independent, resilient, and hardworking.
What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – “Don’t just dream it — work for it.” and “Don’t let fear make your decisions.”
If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Empowering.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be? – To heal and motivate people emotionally so they can believe in themselves again.
Which talent would you most like to have? – I would love to become even better at public speaking and mentoring women on a larger platform.
