Meet Ben Bleicher, team lead and REALTOR for Professional Realty Group (PRG) of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS).

Tell us a little about your business.PRG (www.PRG-NE.com) is a team of experienced real estate professionals and staff who recently expanded into the Omaha market under Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. We moved into the BHHS Ambassador office in the Village Pointe Plaza, with more offices to come in the near future. We help clients buy, sell, and lease residential and commercial properties, as well as industrial, land development, and new construction. The economic market, real estate tech, and the realtor industry, in general, is trending rapidly towards less effective firms being propped up by big-tech companies, whereas we consider ourselves at PRG to be professionals trained in marketing, contracts, negotiations, and technology, making us fiduciaries to our clients and not just a salesperson.

How did you get started in the business? – I’ve been in real estate for about eight years now. It all started when a friend who’s also a realtor said he thought I would do great at real estate. I took a chance, got my license, and the rest is history. I’m proud to say that PRG has had many record-breaking years since we formed in 2018.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Making the decision to partner with a new brokerage and expand beyond Lincoln was and still is a big undertaking, but I have no doubt the reward will be worth the risk. PRG is committed to bringing back the tradition of professionalism into other cities and states. Being part of BHHS will allow us to take shape on a national level.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – In 2021, I brought in $38,188,995 in closed volume, with 108 closed sides.

Tell us a little about your family. – I’m married to my best friend, Andrea, who is also a talented real estate professional and co-founder of PRG. We have two wonderful kids, Vincent (18) and Brynn (9), along with a couple of furry family members in the house as well!

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Obtaining my real estate license and getting married. Both were definitely game changers.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Hanging with my family and just relaxing.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – That’s a story for another day. I only tell these things to my clients…

What are you the most proud of? – My kids, wife, and my agents. All rockstars.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – Never become complacent. There’s always a bigger and better goal to achieve. If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Loyal.

If you had a theme song, what would it be? – “I Can’t Stop” by Flux Pavilion.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – Prospecting. I don’t have enough hours in a day…yet.

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – There isn’t one; I absolutely love what I do.

What local nonprofit organization(s) are you passionate about or involved with, and are there any special reasons why? – More than I can list, because I enjoy being a philanthropist.
