After a highly successful 35 year career in field and executive sales and marketing in B2C and B2B industries for national companies with sales of over 60 million, the next logical step for Andy Greenberg was to start his own business.  Employing his own marketing techniques, within three months with nearly no advertising and promotion, ‘Speaking of Andy Greenberg’ became highly known in Nebraska and well respected.  ‘Speaking of Andy Greenberg’ is a Life and Businesses Building service that provides access to gain original and innovative techniques through entertaining and informative presentation and consulting services.  These include sales, marketing, customer service, motivation, networking, leadership and public speaking skills.

Tell us a little about your family. – I have been married 41 years to Carole, who I met on my 15th birthday!  I always consider her a present from upstairs, with a no return policy and a lifetime warranty.  We have one son and two grandchildren.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?  – Realizing how much fun and rewarding it is to teach and share.  This occurred about five years ago when I was finally able to interpret a recurring dream.  That morning I changed my approach to people and began to teach and share how to get the most out of life and business and enjoy every minute of it.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Spend the day with Carole playing!

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I was a major stutterer until the day of my Bar Mitzvah.  Standing in front of people just about to give a speech, knowing I was a stutterer was frightful.  The minute I opened my mouth to start the words, it went away.

What are you the most proud of? – All my life I worked hard at one thing-to balance personal, family and professional pursuits without sacrificing one for the other. Few people attain that and Carole and I have.  I have visited 67 countries, all 50 states and every major league ballpark.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – Never stop celebrating, never stop pursuing.

What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish? – I have a daily radio two minute motivational vignette on 1110 KFAB called “Getting UP with Andy Greenberg” at 5:25 am as part of the Good Morning Show with Gary Sadlemyer. My goal is to go national.  As of this writing I have 300 stations that I am talking to through syndication!

What are your plans after retirement? – Continue to speak, educate and read and add to my spiritual life.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – Every day is a talent show.  If we are not using our greatest talent or all our talents every day then we are wasting our time and others.  I use all my talents every day.

Which talent would you most like to have? – Ventriloquism!  When telling stories during my speeches it would be great to act out the other parties’ responses.  No trainer or speaker that I know of does that. I have taken lessons and have a ways to go before I have it down pat.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – NLP-Neuro Linguistic  Programming

If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be? – Golda Meir
