Center Sphere is a business networking organization that brings business professionals together to grow their network and net worth.  Founded in Omaha, Center Sphere promotes sharing referrals, ideas and resources among their members and utilizes a methodical referral process in which social interaction leads to stronger relationships for your business.  Amy Dritley is the Head of Operations for Center Sphere.

How did you get started in the business? – I was one of the original members and enjoyed the organization so much that I came on board with the Leadership Team in April 2012. My past experience in owning a marketing company has given me many resources that I can utilize every day in helping our members grow their business.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – The biggest challenge I face with my profession is that I want to be everywhere all the time. I’m a little bit of a networking junkie!

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – It’s always a thrill when people contact me just because a friend or colleague told them to. Personal referrals mean so much to me.

Tell me a little about your family. – I have an adorable (and growing!) 6 year old son that keeps me busy. I have 3 sisters and great parents that all support me in whatever crazy adventure I find myself involved with.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – The biggest turning point for me was when I got involved in my very first referral group and learned so much about the business networking world. It was there that I had no choice but to build my confidence, speak with strangers, present my products and grow my sphere of influence.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Definitely sleep in.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – Most people probably do not know that in my ‘past life’ I owned a photography business and shot several weddings and senior pictures.

What are you the most proud of? – I get several comments about how well behaved my son is in public. He has been a “chamber brat” and hauled to events and meetings with me since he was two weeks old. I think I have done a pretty good job raising him.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – A hand up is always more beneficial that a hand out.

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Enthusiastic

If you could have a super power, what would it be? – I would clone myself! However, I don’t know if the world could handle two of me!

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – I would like to run an event planning company someday.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – Eat Pray Love … of course now I am dead set on eating endless pasta in Italy! I also participate in ladies book studies at my church, Stonebridge Christian. It’s way cheaper than therapy.

What is your favorite TV show? – The Newsroom

What is your favorite local restaurant? – El Bees in Waterloo.
