Ali Henrichs was so intrigued when she saw an advertisement for Edible Arrangements in Good Housekeeping that, after researching their website, she booked a flight to Connecticut, attended “Discovery Day”, fell in love with the concept and has never looked back since.  With her business partner Donna Pletcher (the best business partner anyone could ask for, according to Ali), Ali is committed to brighten people’s days with fresh fruit bouquets for any occasion including birthdays, anniversaries and congratulations to business events and client gifts.  Each bouquet can be complemented with chocolate dipped fruit including dipped strawberries, dipped pineapple daisies, dipped banana slices, dipped Granny Smith apple wedges and more!

Tell us a little about your family.
God has blessed me with a wonderful, loving family! My two best friends are my mom and my sister. My whole family is now in Lincoln and we see each other quite often. This gives me the chance to see my three beautiful nieces, Kennedi, Lauren and Emersyn as much as I can.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?
Bringing Edible Arrangements into my life. Professionally, this has kept me motivated for life. Personally, I have gained patience and personal strength.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
I like to relax, go for a run and spend time with my nieces. I’ve also just recently started biking with my sister. I also love watching Husker football!

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
I love coming to work every single day…even the insane holiday mayhem! I actually get excited and geared up to work practically 24 hours a day throughout the entire week of these holidays.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Enjoy the moments!

What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish?
Finish a marathon. For me, this is a way to test my strength and focus in both mind and body.

If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I would want the power to change a person’s perspective of their world, or give them the resources to make the changes that they need.

What are your plans for retirement?
I’m too young for this question! I suppose when that time comes, I’ll probably want to golf and travel. Most of the traveling will take me to Husker games, Cubs games, anywhere that I can see live sports.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life?
I love playing the piano.  I played for church and many different events when I was young and eventually began teaching a few students of my own.

Which talent would you most like to have?
Singing. No, I mean singing WELL.  Singing “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” with friends for karaoke is one thing, but I cannot carry a tune.

What is your favorite movie?
I enjoy all movies! My favorite movie depends on the mood I’m in at that time. I like the Bourne Series and Any Given Sunday.

What is your favorite TV show?
ESPN SportsCenter and General Hospital. My great grandmother got me hooked on soaps when I was little and stayed at her house. It’s such a guilty pleasure.
