Tell us a little about your family.
My wife and I are from Kansas where the majority of our family still resides. We are high school sweethearts and have been married for a little over four years. In 2010 we added a son to our family and spend the majority of our time keeping up with him.
What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?
Meeting my wife, without question. I have no idea where I’d be today if it weren’t for her keeping me on track.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
I recently picked up bow hunting. I love to go down to my garage and practice archery as well as getting outdoors.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
A surprising thing to most people is that I’m not very personable outside work. At work I’m engaging in conversation and dealing with people every hour of the day. At home, I’m not as outgoing which would surprise a lot of people.
What are you the most proud of?
It could have been a multitude of things up until a few years ago, but upon the birth of our son, he has to be the thing I’m most proud of.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Learn Constantly. I can’t believe how it seems the more I learn, the less I know.
What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish?
I would like to become a better father.
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
It seems like you have to be pretty descriptive on these questions or you might get something unexpected. I would like to have the ability to give out superpowers.
What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life?
I personally think I could have a knack for creating commercials. Often times when watching television, I think that I could do it better. I guess you could categorize the talent as “creating commercials”.
Which talent would you most like to have?
I would love to be more calculated. I’m so much of an extrovert, it’s hard for me to sit still and focus. Imagine how long it took me to answer these questions.
What is your favorite book or the last good book you read?
My favorite book is The Godfather, way better than the movie.
What is your favorite TV show?
Loving Sons of Anarchy right now. Almost want to go back and answer some of the questions with “Want to join a motorcycle club”.
What is your favorite local restaurant?
La Mesa. That white cheese dip is outstanding. I don’t even know what else they have there.
If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be?
Al Capone. He did an excellent job making the most of his situation.
