Kids Can (KidsCan.org) invites the community to join their Can Do Awards Luncheon presented by Verizon. The luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the UNO Scott Conference Center.

The event honors individuals and organizations with a Can Do award in recognition of their contributions to our community.

“We are excited every year to celebrate so many outstanding individuals making an impact,” said Robert Patterson, Kids Can CEO. “Their can do spirit is an inspiration for all of us and the remarkable work they do every day.”

Tickets and sponsorships for the event are now available on the Kids Can website at KidsCan.org. Even if you cannot attend, there are options to purchase sponsorships or make individual donations to their cause.

The mission of Kids Can Community Center is to educate, engage, and inspire children through early childhood education and quality out-of-school experiences. Founded in 1908 as the Social Settlement Association, the nonprofit organization has evolved over the last century to meet the constantly changing needs of children and families in the community.
