Release to Host Author Jamie C. Finn April 30, Honors National Foster Care Month
On April 30, Release (releaseinc.org) will be hosting author Jamie C. Finn for her book release tour and to kick off National Foster Care Month, which is recognized each May. Beginning at 7 p.m., foster parents and the community are welcome to join Release at Lifegate Church Papillion, 749 Pinnacle Dr., for a night of encouragement and teaching as Jamie discusses her newest book, Foster the Family.
Jamie C. Finn is the founder and executive director of Foster the Family; the host of the Real Mom podcast; the founder and owner of Goods and Better; and a sought-after speaker for retreats, conferences, and events for foster and adoptive parents. Her popular social media accounts offer a glimpse into the real life of a foster parent and provide encouragement to thousands of foster parents. At any given moment, Jamie is a mother to four to six children, including her two biological children and two children adopted through foster care.
