Release Announces the 2022 Resilient Gala, Set for April 28
Resilient, the 2022 Annual Release (releaseinc.org) Gala with Honorary Chairs Rhonda and Howard Hawks, is scheduled for Thursday, April 28 at the Embassy Suites La Vista Hotel & Conference Center and promises to be an uplifting and memorable event.
The theme, Resilient, was chosen as it represents the character of speaker Derek Clark, who as a child was abused and abandoned by his parents. Derek will share the extraordinary story of how God enabled him to not only survive but thrive with the help of loving foster parents and mentors. His story will inspire everyone who deals with adversity and will be especially encouraging to foster parents. That’s why Release is inviting event sponsors to add to their sponsorships an additional table ($750) to be filled with foster parents to bless and encourage them.
The funds raised at the 2022 Gala will bring hope, healing, and resilience to hurting youth and families in our community through the following programs: foster parent training and support, mentoring, mental health services, in-home family assistance, and chaplains for incarcerated youth.
