Project Harmony (projectharmony.com) has opened registration for the upcoming 16th annual Speaking of Children Luncheon and Conference on April 18-19. The event will be held at the Embassy Suites Omaha-La Vista Conference Center. The honorary chairs are Jessie and Dean Rasmussen, and event chairs are Emily Allen and Ashley Rich.

Inspiring and educating the community in the fight against child abuse, Speaking of Children is a two-day conference and keynote luncheon in partnership with Children’s Hospital & Medical Center and the US Attorney’s Office – District of Nebraska.

The keynote speaker for this year’s event is Gaelin Elmore. Gaelin is a former foster youth, child abuse survivor, retired pro-football player, and an advocate and speaker.
