Council Bluffs, Iowa: Veridian Credit Union is pleased to announce that Jason “Jay” Ferris has been hired as the Market President for the Council Bluffs/Omaha region.
As Market President, Ferris will be responsible for developing client relationships, community partnerships and business consultation to help build brand awareness of Veridian Credit Union, a not-for-profit credit union with more than 185,000 members.
Ferris, a Council Bluffs resident, has 27 years of management experience in finance, real estate and insurance. He was previously the Director of Business Development for the CPA firm of Hayes & Associates, and he studied Marketing at Bellevue University.
Ferris is active in the Council Bluffs and Omaha communities, serving the Omaha Chamber Presidents Club, as well as being a Council Bluffs Chamber Ambassador. In addition, he’s on the Equity & Engagement Committee for the Metro Area Planning Agency, helps the Advisory Board for the Abide Ministry and serves as a Civil Service Commission board member for the city of Council Bluffs.
