Valerie J. Newman Joins Elder Law of Omaha, P.C., L.L.O.
Catherine N. Swiniarski, founding partner of Elder Law of Omaha, P.C., L.L.O. (www.elderlawomaha.com), is pleased to announce a new addition to the firm’s legal team. Valerie J. Newman has joined the firm as an associate attorney. Ms. Newman grew up in Spencer, NE and attended Hastings College where she earned a B.A. in history, economics, and business administration. From there, she earned her J.D. from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln – College of Law.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Newman served in the United States Air Force where she assisted military veterans and deploying Airmen with their estate planning needs. At 18, she enlisted in the Army before switching to the Air Force when she commissioned, and she is currently in the Nebraska National Guard. Ms. Newman has served in the military for nearly 19 years.
Elder Law of Omaha, P.C., L.L.O. concentrates its practice in the area of Elder Law. Services offered include estate planning, trusts, medicaid asset preservation, and adult guardianships and conservatorships. Ms. Newman guides retirees through the process of getting their affairs in order, creates powers of attorney, wills and trusts, and provides other services to meet her clients’ needs. She will also guide clients through the seemingly impossible task of navigating through the financial questions surrounding how to pay for assisted living or long-term care with Medicaid.
