Union Bank & Trust (UBT) (ubt.com) recently promoted Sarah Wischhof to the position of Vice President – Head of Marketing.
Wischhof brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing and communications to her role as the head of UBT’s Marketing department, in which she will shape marketing strategy across the organization, guide internal and external partnerships, drive digital innovation and support the bank’s continued expansion in new and existing markets.
Wischhof started at UBT in 2018 as a marketing manager, working primarily with the bank’s Wealth Management division. Since then, she has grown in her role overseeing the Marketing department’s account management, community outreach and education teams and managing large branding projects with both internal and external partners. She also played an integral role in the opening of UBT’s new Omaha location and its downtown home at Union Bank Place. Prior to joining UBT, Wischhof served as the director of marketing for United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County.
Wischhof, a Lincoln native, earned her degree in Journalism from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. She is an active volunteer in the community and serves on the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools board, the Lincoln East Booster board, the Inspire Awards advisory board, the Eastridge Pool board and also as a professional in residence for UNL’s Buoy program.
