The Arthritis Foundation is honored to welcome Todd Chipman as the newest member of its Nebraska Leadership Council, which works with staff and volunteers to lead the way in the implementation of the Heartland Region’s strategic direction.

Todd Chipman is an Omaha native who enlisted in the Navy at the age of 18 and served 22 years of active-duty service, retiring as a Navy Commander, with his final tour of duty right back in the Omaha area at U.S. Strategic Command.

Todd and his wife Kim have four children and live in Papillion, NE. Todd and Kim’s daughter, Katie, was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis at the age of five. She is now ten and her treatment has been successful, enabling her to enjoy life as an active kid. Katie is the 2015 Omaha Metro Walk to Cure Arthritis youth honoree.

Todd earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), with a concentration in Petroleum Management from the University of Kansas. Todd currently works as a business instructor at Iowa Western Community College teaching economics, personal finance, and business math courses.
